Monash Blockchain x Solana Hackfest V3: Monash Hackfest
Solana Superteam Malaysia is back with another Solana Hackfest to the ecosystem. This time, the event will take place in Monash University Malaysia.
Monash Hackfest is a 3-days ideathon for beginners to learn about what is blockchain and how to utilize it to build the next future innovation.
The event is open for all university students, no coding / blockchain experience required. (Open for beginners)
What to Expect:
- Workshops to learn more about blockchain and the Solana ecosystem.
- Mentorship to guide you in building the next future innovative idea.
- Collaborative ideating activities to build your innovative ideas
- Practical experience in building cutting-edge technologies
- Exciting challenges and opportunities to showcase your talent
- Networking opportunities with industry experts and fellow enthusiasts
Details of the Competition:
⚙️ Workshop & Ideating: 23th - 24th August 2024
✅ Submission Date: 25th August 2024 (10 am)
🔉 Demo Day: 25th April 2024 (Physical)
🌐 Venue: Auditorium 2, Monash University Malaysia
Submission Requirements
- Pitch Deck
- Elevator Video, explaining the pitch deck (max 3 minute)
- Product Design/Prototype (Github, Figma, or Canva)
- Registered to Solana RADAR Hackathon
Attendees must also do a short presentation during demo day (25 August) to win the prize pool
Judging Criteria
Problem Identification & Business Case (60%)
- Is the problem statement clear and well-addressed?
- How significant is the addressed problem & solutions?
- Is there any clear market demand for the idea?
- Is the business model feasible & sustainable?
Presentation (30%)
- How creative and engaging is the presentation?
- How comprehensive is the pitch deck?
- Is there any demonstration of how the product will work?
Implementation (10%)
- How well are Web3 and blockchain technologies implemented in the solution?
